I opened  Olney Nursery in 1996 after teaching in primary schools in both Milton Keynes and Northampton. It was a natural professional progression to teach Early Years as, as a primary school teacher I had seen first hand the importance of giving young children an excellent, solid foundation as a starting point for their educational journey.

Sian Griffiths B.A (hons), Early Years Teacher Status

Sian has worked in many educational settings prior to joining us at Nursery. Since having her own children she developed a passion for early years, and this combined with a history of managerial positions within education has led to her complete her early years teacher status where she is committed to enhancing the experiences of children aged under 5.

Amber Hansell-Spain Level 3 in Childcare and Education

Amber is an experienced Room Leader with a strong passion for Early Years education, particularly approaches such as the Curiosity Approach and Montessori. She is highly dedicated to supporting children with special educational needs, which is now a key focus of her professional development at Olney Nursery.

Louise Roughley Level 3 in Childcare and Education

Louise is an experienced practitioner with many years of knowledge gained from working across nurseries, preschools, and running her own childminding business. She is highly skilled at establishing consistent routines, which helps children feel safe, secure, and confident in our nursery environment.

Amber Bale Level 2 Childcare Apprentice

Amber joined us to help ensure a consistent, creative, and enabling environment for the children attending nursery, bringing a real ‘wow’ factor to our days. Her carefully planned activities engage and stimulate children’s imagination, creativity, and learning experiences. Amber is currently studying towards her Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education.

Charlie Bristow-Bass Level 2 Childcare Apprentice

Charlie is new to childcare and brings a great sense of energy and a natural, nurturing approach when working with children. She builds positive relationships quickly and is highly motivated to complete her Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education.
